I grabbed coffee at Think Coffee around the corner every morning, and the barista started making my order before I even asked – that’s the kind of area this is.

The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a place with a 9.3 rating, but it’s the details that matter. The blackout curtains actually work (crucial when you’re trying to sleep past sunrise in the city that never sleeps), the air conditioning runs whisper-quiet, and they’ve got this clever setup where the bathroom lighting doesn’t blind you at 3 AM. I stayed during a particularly brutal July heat wave, and while the sidewalks were melting outside, my room stayed perfectly cool without that aggressive AC blast you get at some hotels.   This lovely apartment was an incredible value and Sara is a wonderful host! The apartment itself is very charming, clean and comfortable, plus the location couldn’t be more convenient. My parents and aunt stayed here for 3 nights and they are already hoping to stay again during their next visit to nyc. Sara was also very kind, helpful, and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. I can’t recommend this apartment enough if you’re looking for a place in the area!

  We stayed there in October. The appartment is very nice and in a great location. For NY is very very big and had enough space for the three of us. Kitchen has everything you need. Sara‘s response time was very quick.

  The apartment was perfect for our needs. Although we did not cook the full sized kitchen was very handy for breakfast and snacks. The apartment is up two flights of stairs. Once inside the apartment is quiet and lovely but the building itself was a bit dirty. We loved the location which was super handy to all our needs. Great restaurants and easy access to groceries and public transport. We mainly walked 5 minutes to Union Square subway then it was a quick, easy commute to anywhere. Joe’s pizzas across the road are excellent. Communication was prompt and very easy. We really enjoyed our 11 night stay here and enjoyed the extra space we would not have had in a hotel.
