Hilton Club The Quin New York Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Hilton Club The Quin New York, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property smack in the middle of Midtown’s chaos. But you know what? This place completely surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible.

The location is absolutely unbeatable if you want to be in the thick of everything. You’re literally steps from Carnegie Hall (I could hear the faint sound of rehearsals from my room on the 8th floor), and Central Park is just a quick two-minute walk north on Sixth Avenue. What really struck me was how they’ve managed to create this surprisingly calm oasis despite being surrounded by the tourist madness of 57th Street. The lobby has this intimate, almost residential feel – think boutique vibes rather than corporate hotel sterility. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which honestly doesn’t happen much in New York anymore.

The rooms are smaller than what you’d get in, say, a suburban Hilton, but that’s Manhattan real estate for you. What impressed me was how thoughtfully they’ve used the space – there’s actually room to open your suitcase without doing some weird furniture shuffle dance. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the blackout curtains work surprisingly well considering you’re surrounded by neon and traffic lights. One thing to note: if you’re on a lower floor facing 57th Street, it can get a bit noisy during rush hour, but honestly, that’s part of the New York experience. The higher floors are much quieter, and some even have partial park views if you crane your neck just right. I particularly loved the little touches – decent coffee in the rooms, actual hangers instead of those theft-proof monstrosities, and bathroom products that don’t smell like industrial cleaner. The fitness center is compact but well-equipped, and since it’s not a massive hotel, you’re not fighting crowds for the treadmill at 7 AM. Getting around from here is ridiculously easy – you’ve got the N, Q, R, and W trains right at 57th and Broadway, plus about fifteen bus lines within a block or two. For shopping, you’re basically in retail heaven with everything from street vendors to high-end boutiques right outside your door.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Great NYC weekend trip hotel minutes from centralParkt – Deborah from United States – August 25, 2025 (8/10)

Can’t beat the location. Also our room was very quiet and also the housekeeping came every day and did a great job.

What could be improved: The room is very small. Smaller than other places we’ve stayed in the city. The floors were redone with hardware and they were uneven causing a bit of a tripping hazard

  • Amazing stay! – Sara from Italy – August 14, 2025 (9/10)

I really loved everything about this hotel: the location, the room, the bed and the staff. Amazing stay!

  • Perfect place to stay. I will definitely come back. – Jorge from Mexico – August 8, 2025 (10/10)

Absolutely fantastic 5-day stay! Every staff member — from the doorman to housekeeping — made me feel genuinely welcome with warm greetings every day. The room was spotless and well maintained throughout. Reception was especially kind and flexible when I requested a late check-out. Their attention to detail truly stood out. The hotel’s location is also perfect — central and convenient. Can’t recommend it enough!

  • One of the Best Hotel Experiences! – Victoria from United Arab Emirates – July 23, 2025 (10/10)

As someone who travels frequently around the world, I can confidently say that this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. We spent 7 days here, and every aspect of our stay was exceptional.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern, and spacious, with comfortable bed and pillows. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk to Central Park, and surrounded by grocery stores, restaurants, and shops.

What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Shawn, the bellboy, who greeted us every day with a smile and a kind word. His warm, positive energy made a lasting impression, he made us feel at home every time we returned to the hotel.

Whether you’re planning a short city break or a longer stay, I highly recommend this hotel. We will absolutely be coming back!

  • Perfect – Mark from United Kingdom – July 21, 2025 (10/10)

The rooms were great , the staff lovely and the location is perfect

What could be improved: The attached restaurant does lovely food , but skip it for breakfast as very expensive

  • Exceptional – Mary from United Kingdom – July 20, 2025 (10/10)

Loved the contemporary feel and the art work. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully designed.

What could be improved: The only niggle is that there was no bar to have a drink in the evening.
