The living area flows beautifully, and you can actually fit ten people without everyone feeling like sardines, which is… well, pretty remarkable when you know Manhattan real estate.

What really got me was the view – you’re right in the heart of Midtown, so you’ve got this incredible cityscape spread out in front of you. I mean, I spent way too much time just standing by those floor-to-ceiling windows with my coffee in the morning, watching the city wake up below. The apartment sits in that sweet spot where you’re walking distance from Times Square (about 8-10 minutes if you don’t get distracted by street performers), but you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos right on top of you. Penn Station and the subway lines are super close, which honestly makes getting around the city so much easier – no need to deal with taxi traffic when you want to head downtown or up to the Upper East Side.

The kitchen actually works for a group this size, which is huge because most vacation rentals just throw in a tiny kitchenette and call it a day. We ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, let’s be real, feeding ten people at New York restaurants gets expensive fast. The bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out too – they managed to create real privacy even with a full group, and the master suite feels like something out of a luxury hotel. I will say the building can get a bit busy during peak tourist season since you’re so centrally located, but the penthouse itself stays quiet, and there’s something kind of energizing about being right in the pulse of everything. The building staff was surprisingly helpful too – they actually knew the neighborhood and could point you toward the good stuff, not just the obvious tourist traps. If you’re bringing a group to the city and want space to actually breathe while staying in the thick of things, this place delivers in a way that’s pretty hard to find in Midtown.

  Wonderful penthouse in the center of New York. just 5 mn away from time square. the building is a typical New York building with a doorman 24/7, very safe. the penthouse is at the last floor of the building with an incredible view across all the city. Lauren, our host was adorable and so reactive. The appartement was perfectly clean. this is the best place to stay in New York when you don’t want to stay in a hotel.
