The Meatpacking District is basically next door, so if you’re into nightlife, you’re golden, though fair warning – Friday and Saturday nights can get a bit loud with people spilling out of the clubs around 2 AM. Chelsea Market is an easy walk too, which saved me a fortune on overpriced hotel breakfast (the inn’s continental spread is pretty basic, to be honest). What really sold me on the place, though, was how it felt like a genuine slice of New York living. You’re not isolated in some sterile hotel bubble – you’re right there in a real neighborhood where people walk their dogs and grab groceries and live actual lives.
