I mean, you’re still in New York, so it’s not exactly quiet, but the street noise here is more of that steady urban hum rather than the constant honking and yelling you get closer to the tourist traps. The three-bedroom setup is actually pretty genius if you’re traveling with family or a group of friends – everyone gets some space, but you’ve got that central living area where you can hang out and plan your day. The one bathroom situation might seem like a potential issue, but it’s honestly fine unless you’re traveling with a bunch of people who all need to get ready at exactly the same time.

What struck me most was how the place manages to feel both local and comfortable. The furnishings aren’t fancy, but they’re thoughtful – you’ve got a proper kitchen where you can actually cook (not just a mini-fridge and microwave), decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and windows that let in genuine natural light, which is harder to find than you’d think in this part of the city.   Check in process was smooth. We were met by Elizabeth and was taken to the apartment.
  The location is in a nice neighborhood with plenty of places to eat and grocery store within walking distance.
  The unit is in level 4 and no lift. The apartment was clean with wooden floors, the floor area from behind the couch towards the bedroom was quite creaky and had gaps.
  The middle bedroom with no window was very quiet. While the other two bedrooms with windows are not so- one had an outside view where you can hear the vehicles passing and one where you hear a constant humming sound coming from outside.
  The washing machine and drier was very nice to have.

  Great location and very responsive and helpful host. Check-in was efficient. Beds and linens were really comfortable. Kitchen was fine. Very comfortable living area. Allowed us a late checkout which was most appreciated.
  
  What could be improved: A/c units in the windows allowed cold air to come in because they weren’t sealed. We put pillows up to keep out the cold. Wood floor seams were rough and caused a few slivers in our feet. Wear slippers!

  I liked the location and safety of the area and the building.
  
  What could be improved: They didn’t provide wash rags at all, they only provided three big towels. There were holes in the ceiling and walls. The bedroom on 2nd avenue was very loud due to the window units, it was almost impossible to sleep.

  What could be improved: – apt is located on 50ts street and 2 Av – i.e. very busy place with 5 lines of cars on the road
  – all windows are constantly open due to added air-condition units i.e. you hear full noise from the road
  – next to the window in bdr you will find a massive ventilation system from the restaurant located in the ground floor that will wake up you every day anytime between 4 am and 6 am…

  Departamento con buena ubicación, 3 dormitorios cómodos, 1 solo baño, cocina y comedor. Buen espacio y buen equipado. A 3 cuadras del metro 6. Muy buena disposición del personal. Más baratos que otras opciones que revise!

  L’appartement est idéal pour 4 à 6 personnes. Les chambres et les lits sont de bonnes tailles. L’appartement était propre et les équipements présents. L’emplacement géographique permet de visiter les principaux sites de Manhattan à pied et de prendre facilement la navette fluviale à Dumbo (East River)
  
  What could be improved: L’appartement est mal isolé et la chambre côté 2 avenue est bruyante. Idem pour la chambre côté cour à cause du moteur de la climatisation inversée.
