The outdoor space isn’t some tiny fire escape situation either – I mean, we’re talking about a legitimate terrace where you can actually have your morning coffee without feeling like you’re perched on a ledge. The duplex layout means you’ve got real separation between the living area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to unpack or if someone wants to stay up later watching TV.

What really sold me on the neighborhood was walking around at different times of day. Sure, it gets hectic during rush hour with all the commuters, but early mornings have this surprising calm – you’ll find actual New Yorkers grabbing coffee at the little spots along 9th Avenue instead of just tourists. The apartment itself has this lived-in quality that feels authentic rather than sterile. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Whole Foods down on 24th (though let’s be real, with all the restaurants around here, you probably won’t cook much). I particularly loved how the windows face west, so you get these amazing sunset views that make New York look almost magical – especially in winter when the light hits the buildings just right. The building’s pretty quiet too, which isn’t something you can take for granted in this part of town. Check-in was straightforward, no weird key pickup situations or confusing instructions. One small thing – the stairs to the bedroom level are a bit steep, so if you’re traveling with heavy luggage or have mobility concerns, just keep that in mind.

  Tolle Wohnung mit sehr schöner Terrasse und Balkon. Durch die perfekte Lage direkt an der Penn Station sind mit der U-Bahn alle Ziele in Manhatten sehr gut und schnell erreichbar. Auch der Transfer von und zu den Flughäfen JFK und Newark läuft über die Bahn direkt zur Penn Station.
